New Update Reveals ‘Serious’ New Movie for One Piece Anime

Longtime voice actor Kazuki Yao, who portrayed Franky for nearly two decades, passed the torch to Subaru Kimura. Known for his work in The First Slam Dunk as Hanamichi Sakuragi and Jujutsu Kaisen as Aoi Todo, Kimura will take on the iconic role.

The series is set to resume on April 6, 2025. A trailer and a heartfelt message from Eiichiro Oda accompany this announcement.

Subaru Kimura, who voiced a younger Buggy in 2021, will take over. With a career spanning from the mid-2000s, Kimura is also recognized for roles in Doraemon, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Suicide Squad Isekai.
